Colin Kaepernick: No Justice, No Peace?

Ladies, not only is Colin Kaepernick handsome. He is a man of substance. Recently Colin has been gracing the front page of our sports section and been the lead story in the news because he chose to take a stand for something he believes in.

Kaepernick refuses to stand up for the National Anthem because he does not want to show pride in a country that oppresses African Americans and people of color. He is in complete disbelief that police officers are getting paid leave after talking innocent people's lives. People who used to love Kaepernick are now burning his jersey and disrespecting our boy. Even Rockstar Kid Rock took the liberty to share his opinion about him. In the middle of his Boston performance, he said F**k Colin Kaepernick and the crowd went crazy.

Colin does not let the opinions of others influence his protest. He has gained support from teammates, In the 49er's first regular season game, Kaepernick's fellow teammate Eric Reid joined him. Broncos Brandon Marshall also took a knee. Unfortunately, he lost endorsements because of it. The players want everyone to understand that this is bigger than football and themselves. They are proving their self pride cannot be bought. Even Rapper J.Cole and R&B singer Trey Songz have been rocking Kaepernick's jersey in performances. This actually increased the sells of Colin's jersey. The best supporter of Colin is President Barack Obama. He defended the player by explaining how Colin is exercising his constitutional rights by protesting.

As Martin Luther King said, "you must STAND for something or you will FALL for anything." So Ladies what do you STAND for?
