This week's WCW goes to Queen Elizabeth with the drip! Cambage is known for her big personality on and off the court. Not only is she a hell of a ball player, she is a DJ. At a young age, Liz had a love and hate relationship with her height. She stood 6 ft tall at the age of 10 and then grew 5 more inches by the age of 14. The other students made fun of her height. Fortunately, she had her mother by her side the whole way. She even suggested basketball to Liz so she could cultivate her talent and make friends. Once Cambage transitioned from WNBL to WNBA, things did not change. She stood her ground and made sure she stayed focus on her vision, which is improving her game. Liz has always been transparent in who she was even when it got ugly. She opened up and discussed her struggles with anxiety and depression. Liz takes it day by day and makes an effort to live a healthier lifestyle. She works out, gets her rest and follows a plant-based diet. She realized that she had to dig deep within herself when it came to her mental health. She went back on her medication and remain postitive. I definitely commend her for being brave and shedding light on Mental Health. Standing for who she is truly an inspiration.
