This week's WCW (yes I said WCW on this beautiful Thursday) goes to someone I had the pleasure of calling my friend, Dade County's finest Miss Ebony Morrison. Ebony is a track star legacy! Her mother ran track as well. In high school, she was an absolute beast. While attending Robert Morgan Educational Center, she ran for Miami South Ridge and my alum Miami Killian. She won 2012 FHSAA 4A State championships in both the long jump and 100m hurdles. She won four consecutive state championships in the 100m hurdles from 2010-2013. The list of accomplishments go on and on. Next she was able to live her dream of becoming a Miami Hurricane. There she continued to blaze on the track! Just to highlight a few achievements at the U! In 2017, she won the women's 60m hurdles with a personal-best-tying time of 8.12 seconds at the ACC Championships. She also finished 15th overall in the women's 60m hurdles with a time of 8.47 seconds at the NCAA Championships. Can we all agree this girl is unstoppable.!?!

Her greatness just did not stop once she graduated from Miami. This year Ebony took her talents to Tokyo. In the XXXII Olympic Games where she represented Liberia. She was a semifinalist!! Her time was 12.74. Now that's how you rep Da Crib!!

She also is an entrepreneur. She owns her own intimate activewear brand named Ivoryx. Support my girl!! #BlackOwnedBusiness
