This week’s Woman Crush Wednesday goes to the one and only Cari Champion. While a student at UCLA, Champion was drawn to journalism in hopes to change the negative stereotypes of African Americans. She knew that being the “voice” for those who don’t have one would not be easy. But Cari is nothing but a Champion, she worked hard and made her way to the top. She has been the beautiful face on plenty of shows on ESPN. From First Take to SportsNation, Cari has been a role model for African American women like myself. She has created a nonprofit foundation called Brown Girls Dreams. The goal of the foundation is to give young women a chance to have a mentor by some of the best in the multimedia industry. Brown Girls Dream helps transform and mold young women in their early stages of their career. WOW --- talking about being a change in the world!!!
